Program Overview
Master of Arts in Public Administration or MA Public Administration in Distance Education is a two years fully correspondence course offered by CIIS. MA Public Administration course is a multidisciplinary course which spans a wide range of subjects from Political Science to Economics to Management, Law and Sociology. It is a professional degree which prepares students for administrative roles in government agencies, non-profit organizations, private businesses and financial institutions. In this course students learn about socio-political issues which inform Public Administration system in India. Through this course students develop administrative skills and acquire knowledge of finance and accounting, mechanism of government agencies and organizations. The basic objective of the course is to help students learn the relationship between State, Administration and Society.
