Result

  • Eight weeks after the completion of the examination or as soon as possible thereafter, the University shall publish the result on www.ciisindia.in and the mark card will be sent to the respective Study Centre. Candidates who have successfully cleared all the papers shall be awarded a degree.
  • Successful candidates who obtain 60% or more of the aggregate marks of all the semester examinations taken together shall be placed in the first division; those who obtain 50% marks or more but less than 60% shall be placed in the second division. Successful candidates who obtain 70% or more marks in the aggregate shall be placed in the first division with distinction.
  • For any student failing in some paper, if they pass in re-sitting, a fresh mark list showing the marks obtained in the previous semester as well as the present semester will be issued to them.

Promotion

  • Student shall be promoted to the next semester irrespective of the number of papers failed, but the student shall clear all the previous pending papers before enrolling for the final semester.
  • The student can enroll for the next semester before the announcement of the result.
  • A candidate who fails or remains absent in one or more papers or the complete semester will be eligible to reappear for both the examinations, i.e., previous as well as present, to be conducted by the University.
