BTech Aeronautical Engineering program is a four-year course aimed at providing students with a comprehensive education in aeronautical engineering principles and practices. The curriculum spans a diverse array of subjects, including mathematics, physics, basic engineering, and specialized aeronautical disciplines like aerodynamics, aircraft structures, propulsion, flight mechanics, avionics, and control systems. Students receive hands-on training through laboratory work and workshops, where they gain practical experience with fluid mechanics, propulsion systems, and aircraft maintenance. The program also mandates internships and includes a final year project, ensuring students acquire real-world experience. Elective courses offer the opportunity to specialize in areas such as UAV technology or space technology. Graduates are well-equipped for careers in aerospace manufacturing, defense, space research, airlines, and MRO companies, taking on roles such as design engineers and flight safety engineers. The program places a strong emphasis on developing analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, and a thorough understanding of regulatory standards and safety protocols, all aimed at promoting innovation and excellence in aeronautical engineering.
